3 Great Things for Today

I have my 3 great things for today already.  It's only lunch time!  It's been a great morning.

1. I managed to get at least one portion of veg in with my breakfast!  Sauteed some green peppers, mushrooms and scallions.  Added a dash of hot sauce and soy, threw it on top of my scrambled egg and whole wheat toast.
2. We danced around to Katy Perry's new album.  I got a workout and the kiddos had fun.  And baby YOU are a FIREWORK!  Love that song!
3. Got both of the younger ones down for a nap at the SAME time so I can now run around the house and do some chores.  Cuppa tea first though!  I guess that would be number 4! :)

Time for a Change

So, you're waiting for that "something" amazing to happen.  Some days you find that you are just going through the motions.  Waiting for that one thing that is going to rock your world, make it all better.  Waiting and waiting for that life that you always thought you'd have.  Guess what?  No point in waiting.  It's here!  You are the "something" amazing and you have to do it! :)

My thing at the moment?  I have 3 kids.  A 5 year old, 21 month old and 3 month old.  I feel like we get lost in the daily grind.  What makes the every day special?  What makes you as a mom feel like you have achieved something?  Well I am going to try some things out and see what falls out! :)

I'm going to try one new thing every day and see what happens.  Tomorrow we start!  Everyone has to share 3 great things that happened in their day!  I'll let you know how that goes.  I may have to come up with that for the younger ones! LOL!
